Football and film star OJ Simpson led police on a low-speed chase along the Los Angeles freeways shortly before his arrest for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman. This video, aired on CNN, features the sound from oj’s phone conversation with Homicide Detective Tom Lange. Listen as the accused killer tells Lange that he is the one who “deserves” to be hurt.

Amazing negotiation skills by the detective
So you think that the jury returned “not guilty” to avoid throwing the city into another riot? Interesting theory. I think the verdict had a lot more to do with prosecutorial incompetence than anything else.
Don’t blame America, the justice system, wealth or influence for this injustice – blame the ONLY people who were responsible for convicting OJ – the prosecutors, Clark, Darden and the rest of the bumbling incompetents who were handed a slam dunk case and somehow managed to lose anyway. Why? Because they didn’t think people were smart enough to decide for themselves, and decided NOT to use this chase tape, etc. because it might make jurors feel sympathy for OJ. Clark and Darden were fools.
This is exactly what an inocent person would do. Have $10,000 cash & running for the border & threatening to commit suicide. Also the statement of derserving to be to be hurt.
It’s a shame that the jury was not allowed to consider his running away & apology to police. Even in the USA there’s no real justice for all. If you have money, you can literally buy your way out of trouble.
May he receive judgment by God in judgment day.
Detective Lange did a wonderfull job
Many people didn’t understand the context of this conversation. Detective Lange was trying to talk OJ out of killing himself.
The human condition is pretty disgusting.
I am ashamed to find some of the comments in response to this video, and as a result, I am posting this warning to anyone thinking of posting a response. ALL posts with profanity, racist remarks, jokes about the victims, or other inappropriate statements will be immediately deleted. I am disappointed to see that so many people felt so comfortable posting racist statements in a public forum and will not permit any further racism or profanity here on my channel. Grow up and develop a conscience.
