I remember when this song hit. It was all over MTV’s TRL countdown. She was being compared to Britney, Christina Aguilera, and Mandy Moore. They were the 4 pop princesses at the time.

She gained weight but i wouldnt consider her FAT i see bigger women who arent celebs everyday. by hollywood standards she may be considered fat but she really isnt. She just gained weight

I wonder if she can still sing like this. Shame she seemed to have been more interested in fame than being a good artist, because she definitely had the skills (and she was way hotter than Britney/Christina/Mandy/etc). It’s too bad when she was never able to sustain her career, but it was kind of her own fault for exploiting herself.

I wish she would allow her vocal skills to shine like she did on the CD this song was on. She has a lot of skill, shame that she never made it terribly big like Britney or Christina. It’d be cool if her and Christina collaborated, they both have a lot of skill! Shame that Jessica now is known for reality TV, perfume and other tabloid garbage….unlike most she does actually have talent. Her first CD was her only really good one, imo.

@Yeaster well in the industry timing is everything. Britney was the first one to come out in 98′ that’s why she has the most success, she slowly changed her look to innocent to sexy. Jessica came last and that’s why she wasn’t as popular, so she acted liked a bimbo to get fame but she has fame but no successful music career to sustain herself.
